TENNIS ELBOW - Inflammation at the lateral epicondyle (bony process off the humerus) of the elbow and the tendons that insert there. It has earned the name tennis elbow because of the common occurrence of this condition in tennis players (constant dorsiflexion of the wrist). See medial epicondylitis for additional information.
