QUADRICEPS EXERCISES -
Any exercise which takes the knee joint from a flexed to an extended position. Lying supine one can lift the leg and extend the knee joint (alternate sides) to exercise the quadriceps muscle without putting excessive strain on the knee joints. Ankle weights can be added when conditioning improves. Work the inner aspect of the quadriceps by squeezing a towel (rolled up) between your knees, in the seated position for 15 seconds, then repeat.
