PVC'S - A cardiac arrhythmia which originates from within the ventricles. Isolated ventricular contractions are referred to as premature ventricular contractions, or PVC's. Frequent PVC's can be potentially unstable and can degrade to a more serious rhythm or cardiac arrest.
