PULMONARY HYPERTENSION - Abnormally elevated blood pressure within the pulmonary circuit (pulmonary artery). Pulmonary hypertension may be secondary to another disease process (VSD, ASD, and severe COPD), or occur as a primary disease process known as primary pulmonary hypertension.
