NEUROBLASTOMA - A malignant neoplasm that consists of immature nerve cells. Neuroblastomas occur frequently in infants and children in the mediastinal and retroperitoneal regions of the body. Approximately 30% are associated with the adrenal glands. Metastasis are common.
