MOUTH ULCERS - Also known as aphthous ulcers. Circular painful ulcers with a surrounding red margin that are usually 1-2mm in diameter (can be up to 1.0 cm). Heal in 1-2 weeks but can be recurrent. Often caused by a virus in the Herpes family.
