INGUINAL ORCHIDOPEXY - A surgical procedure used to correct undescended testes (cryptorchism). Cryptorchism is a congenital condition where one or both testes fail to descend from the abdominal cavity into the scrotal sac. The failure to correct this condition is met with a significant increase in the risk of malignancy (testicular cancer) in the undescended testicle.
