IMPETIGO - A bacterial rash, often seen in children, that is characterized by a red, crusting, and pustular rash. Often caused by Streptococci or Staphylococci bacteria, this infectious rash is prone to spreading to other distant sites on the body and to other children. Treatment includes local care and oral antibiotics.
