HYPERTHYROIDISM - A condition where there is an increased production of thyroid hormone by the thyroid gland. Examples include Grave's disease. Symptoms of this condition include heart palpitations, weight loss, heat intolerance, high blood pressure, anxiety, and exophthalmos.
