HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS -
The following are medications which have the potential under some conditions to produce hepatotoxicity (damage to the liver): amiodarone, anabolic steroids, androgens, asparaginase, carbamazepine, dantrolene, dapsone, daunorubicin, disulfiram, divalproex, erythromycin, estrogen, fluconazole, halothane, gold compounds, isoniazid, ketoconazole, labetalol, lovastatin, methimazole, methotrexate, methyldopa, phenothiazines, phenytoin, plicamycin, pravastatin, propylthiouracil, rifampin, simvastatin, sulfonamides, and valproic acid.
