HEMOGLOBIN ELECTROPHORESIS - A special diagnostic procedure which identifies abnormal hemoglobin proteins by the way they migrate in an electric field (electrophoresis). This test is used to diagnose thalassemia, sickle cell disease, and hemoglobin c disease.
