HEGGLIN'S ANOMALY - A genetic disorder with an autosomal dominant pattern of inheritance in which neutrophils and eosinophils contain basophilic structures known as Dohle or Amato bodies and in which there is faulty maturation of platelets and low platelet count (thrombocytopenia).
