GENERALIZED SEIZURES - A type of seizure that results in loss of consciousness, generalized muscle contractions, urinary incontinence, tongue biting, and a post-ictal state (confusion and lethargy) following cessation of the seizure. Also referred to as a grand-mal seizure. See epilepsy.
