CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS - Degenerative joint disease of the cervical (neck) spine. Results in a progressive erosion of the cartilage which line the weight bearing joints in the neck. Progressive bony calcification can lead to obstruction of exiting nerve roots resulting in neurological symptoms.
