ANTI-INFLAMMATORIES - Medications that decrease the signs and symptoms (pain and swelling) of inflammation. Corticosteroids are potent anti-inflammatory medications. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories are effective and do not have the side effects that can be associated with steroid medications.
